Earn While You
Learn Program |

We want to give you the
education and resources to help equip you in parenting, living a
healthy lifestyle, and succeeding in life.
How does this work? When you sign on to the Earn While You Learn Program,
you will be paired with a trained volunteer instructor. The instructor and you
will develop a lesson plan that best meets your needs, and then you will meet
together once a week for an hour-long free session.
Each session includes a lesson, homework, video, plus a booklet resource to take
home. You earn "Mommy or Daddy Bucks" for each session you attend and for homework you finish. The "Mommy or Daddy Bucks" can be spent on baby items that are available in our Baby Boutiques.
Here are some of the lessons that are available:
Free lessons covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester of Pregnancy and the first
years after birth: Prenatal Care, Your Changing Body, Pre-Birth Baby
Development, Nutrition for Pregnancy Moms, Infant Massage, Infant
Temperament, Newborn Care, Safety, Caring For Yourself, Communication,
Breastfeeding, Food For Growth, Emergency First Aid, Colic and Sleeping,
Reducing the Risk of SID's, Bonding with Your Unborn Baby, Eye Contact
Means Love, The First Years Last Forever, Preventing Child Molestation.
Discipline: Teaching Limits With Love, Your Child's Development, Shaken Baby
Syndrome. Relationships: Parent-Child Relationship, Homes of Honor, Sex, Love
and Relationships.
Free personal development lessons: The Physical, Emotional and Spiritual
Consequences of Sex Outside of Marriage, and Character Building
Free parenting classes for clients with children ages 2-12: Straight Thinking,
1-2-3 Magic, Real World Applications, When There is an Audience, Testing and
Manipulation, Variations and Getting Started, Counting in Action & Conclusion,
the Family Meeting & 10 Strategies for Building Self-Esteem, Seven Tactics
for Encouraging Good Behavior.
Free Life Skill Classes that give help with balancing your checkbook, managing
your money, making a budget you can live with, saving for your future, resolving
conflicts, cleaning your apartment, shopping for a car, using a recipe, menu
planning, and more.
Earn "Mommy or Daddy Bucks" that can be redeemed for: baby clothing, diapers, wipes, and baby equipment!
